Secondary Chlorination System

Chemdose has worked closely with Yorkshire Water Distribution, to develop a cost effective secondary chlorination dosing unit that could be quickly installed to protect service reservoir and networks.

After detailed discussion it was decided to provide a flow pacing unit that was compact and could be installed through a normal access door. Two systems were developed, neat dosing unit for soft water areas and dilute dosing system for hard water areas.

A concept unit was built by Chemdose and accepted by our client. An order was received for 10 neat dosing rigs and 5 dilute dosing rigs.

During the manufacture process it became apparent that needs on some sites were very urgent. Using the equipment already purchased by our client we were able to attend site immediately and install a basic system to overcome the danger. These were then replaced with complete systems once the manufacturing process was complete

The dosing rigs were manufactured and the Chemdose engineers installed the units around the Yorkshire water region.
